Domain renewal

Keep your domain.
Keep your business online.

A domain that expires takes the website and email down with it. Renew early, or turn on auto renew in the client area and forget about it.

What happens after expiry

The expiry timeline, in plain words

We email you 30, 15 and 7 days before. Renew at the normal price, any number of years.

For most extensions there are a few weeks after expiry where you can still renew at the normal price, but the site may go down.

After grace, the registry holds the name for about 30 days. You can get it back, but the restore fee is much higher.

The name is released. Anyone can register it, including competitors and domain resellers. Do not let it reach this step.
