1. Purpose
This policy protects our customers, the internet community and the registries we work with. It applies to every domain registered, renewed or transferred through DomainWalay, and to every extension.
2. Banned uses
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email or SMS, and email address harvesting.
- Phishing, fake login pages, fake bank or government pages, and any impersonation of a real person or organisation.
- Malware, botnet command servers, ransomware and exploit hosting.
- Fraud, scams, fake online stores, investment schemes that break Pakistani law, and counterfeit goods.
- Child sexual abuse material in any form. This is reported to authorities.
- Content that is illegal in Pakistan, including adult content, hate speech, incitement to violence and gambling that is not licensed.
- Trademark abuse, typo squatting of known brands, and names registered only to sell to the brand owner.
- Fast flux DNS, DNS abuse, and using domains to hide the origin of attacks.
- Breaking the rules of the registry for the extension (for example using a restricted extension without eligibility).
3. Abuse reports
Anyone can report abuse to abuse@domainwalay.pk with the domain name, evidence and contact details. We acknowledge reports within 2 working days and act on valid reports quickly, which can include suspending the domain (clientHold) while we investigate.
4. What we do on a breach
Depending on the severity we may warn the registrant, suspend the domain, cancel the domain without refund, close the account, or report the case to a registry, law enforcement or a security partner. Phishing and malware domains are suspended without warning.
5. Registrant duties
Keep your website, email and DNS secure. If your domain is hacked and used for abuse, you still have to fix it. We can help you point the domain to a safe place until it is cleaned.
6. Appeals
If you think a suspension was wrong, email support@domainwalay.pk with the domain name and your explanation. We review appeals within 3 working days.
